Welcome to my thoughts about life, love, work and making a better world for our kids.
The nickname “The Mayor” was given to me in 1998 when I was a 1LT in the United States Army stationed at Schofield Barracks, HI.
I was fortunate enough to lead almost 400 role players in a division level training exercise simulating a cross-border Sunni Shiite conflict. (early preparation for Iraqi and Afghanistan)
In the training, my role was “The Mayor” of Terrytown.
Fortunately, I had a colleague and friend, Joe Peters, who refused to call me anything other than “The May’arrrr” in his thick Boston accent.
